About Kathy & Sierra Desert Ceremonies
I first came to Arizona for a visit when I was 9 years old and
remember visiting Tombstone. Tombstone is still a favorite
venue: weddings there are so Western! I just LOVE wide open spaces.
My husband and I moved here just for that reason: great views, beautiful
mountains! (Great wedding scenes!)
When I retired from 40 years of a nursing career, I missed the
excitement of meeting new people. A chance encounter opened up a new
opportunity for me: One day I was asked by a friend (who was a Wedding
Officiant) to attend a ceremony with her in a couple's back yard. I was SO
impressed by the beauty of the moment: simple, elegant, intimate. I was hooked!
I am ordained by the Universal Life Church, authorized to perform legal ceremonies in all 50 states of the US. I started in June of 2015 officiating at weddings and after over 90 weddings, I am still amazed at the satisfaction of this work. I am a professional: organizied and efficient.
The best moment for me is sharing in the special day of each couple. Each wedding is unique. I listen to your story and develop a ceremony designed for JUST the two of you. I will work to create a beautiful ceremony that unites different spiritual/religious faiths, cultures or lifestyles. I welcome same sex couples.
I am flexible and have the resources to quickly put together a ceremony that fulfills the your unique needs.
At Sierra Desert Ceremonies, I know there are many considerations that influence the type of ceremony that a couple may choose. I understand Military commitments. I honor all couple's beliefs whether they be religious or non-religious. You are the designer of your ceremony and I will help put it together.
Sierra Desert Ceremonies is veteran owned.
